General Discussion / Be Careful What You Wish For
« Last post by JohnyMac on November 13, 2024, 10:41:23 AM »
"Be careful what you wish for"... "it might come true,"... "lest it come true,"... "you may receive it,"... "you just might get it," Is a popular idiom often attributed to different wishes and desires. This saying comes to mind post the Presidential election.

Each day since November 6th, Trump makes an announcement. These announcements are taking the left and the left leaning media of guard. He is hitting them so fast that they can not circle the wagons to mount a counter attack. The Trump train is rolling on and gaining speed.

Heck in just eight days, Trump has appointed the following people to positions within his administration,

> Chief of staff: Susie Wiles
> Stephen Miller, deputy White House chief of staff for policy
> National security adviser: Mike Waltz
> Border czar: Tom Homan
> U.N. ambassador: Elise Stefanik
> EPA administrator: Lee Zeldin
> CIA director: John Ratcliffe
> Mike Huckabee, U.S. ambassador to Israel
> Steven Witkoff, special envoy to the Middle East
> Pete Hegseth, defense secretary
> Kristi Noem, homeland security secretary
> Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, Department of Government Efficiency
> Whom have I missed?

Rumored,

> Marco Rubio, Secretary of State
> Alina Habba, White House Press Secretary
> Kash Patel, FBI Director
> Brandon Herrera, ATF Director

That is just in the first eight days as President Elect and 9+ weeks to go till inauguration. The Trump train moves forward and gaining steam.

These appointments and more to come are to make sure that Trump's vision for America as seen in this video, on how he is going to eliminate the Swamp,

https://twitter.com/i/status/1854717077837562314

He has similar plans for other sacred cows within Washington, D.C. like, Department of Education, Department of Justice (Attorney General), etcetera. Stay tuned.

Now, Trump wants to cut the Federal Government by 50%, not within 10-years but by 2026, America's 250th anniversary. The last time America President saw this was when Warren G. Harding cut Federal spending by 50% in two years.

With the Federal Government being reduced by 50% was the springing board to the "roaring twenties".

If Trump and his team can pull this off can you imagine what benefit this could mean to every average American citizen? Here are some benefits,

> Reduced USA Debt
> US dollar remains the world currency
> Reduced Federal taxes for everybody
> Prosperity means less chance of wars
> Oh yes, prosperity

With this written, it will be tough to accomplish. The Progressive Elites, both DEM & GOP, will do what they can do to slow this train down. Stay tuned...

Yes Nemo. Local news (NE PA.SW NY) has reported that the number of votes yet to be counted are less than what McCormick leads Casey with. In yesterday's local news papers (Scranton & Binghamton) both left leaning papers mind you, have declared McCormick as the winner.

Also, Senate Majority Leader Schumer, has invited McCormick to Senate Orientation. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/senate/3227019/schumer-invites-mccormick-senate-casey-refuses-concede/

The only one I am aware of (and I pay attention to these things) is possibly the PA Senator Casey (D) and McCormick election.

A couple places have declared McCormick as winner but Casey (incumbent) is waiting until the last vote is counted.

It is close. About 40k votes out of near 7 million.

Oh Felix, Televised/live streamed political defenestration would be GRAND!  Tossing swamp creatures from the highest window at the top of the Trump Tower would be a real morale booster and relieve a lot of pent-up tension.  I have a bit of history in what is now called The Czech Republic, so the defenestrations of Prague come to mind. I appreciate the historical link. Bohemians know how to have a good time while creating political change.

With the YUGE! majority in both electoral and popular votes and Kameltoe conceding the race, it's pretty obvious who won. However, rumors, likely circular reporting of 'shock' storie are circulating on TikTok and other venues of 'high quality' information and dog videos that the results are being contested.

Has anyone here actually read, credible news reports of this or is it the usual rumor scatological broadcasting?  I'll presume 'crap' until further notice.
