It was heat stroke for sure, somewhere in the day I realized that I wasn't sweatting anymore and I was getting confused really easily.

I should have got on it right then but I am stupid.

Sorry to hear about your heat stroke TG. I am glade you knew what to do and are on the mend.

My wife and I are lucky to live on the water so temps at my house are 10-15 degrees cooler than a couple of miles inland. The temps inland are in the 90's which isn't bad compared to what some of you folks are reporting.

If you have any elderly folks living near you, PLEASE stop by their house and or Apt. and check in on them.

Stay (try) cool folks.

I like that John, it shows character.

We would do well to live by the example set by John.

we're FINALLY getting some relief from this brutal heat. yesterday afternoon was the beginning of a week of rain! woohoo! and even when it's not raining it's heavily overcast so the temps are in the low 80s. can't even begin to explain how glorious of a feeling I get when I see a gloomy gray sky around here.  :))

106' in the shade on my porch today.

My local (cincinnati) weather said it topped at 103' today....highest so far this summer.

We spent the day up in Santa Fe where it was in the low 70s with drizzle. It was sooo nice!
