As of today all members that can't prove beard ownership will be banned. :))

Nola, you do have a say. We are writing the rules as we go. I personally don't want to ban anyone but for fuck sake I don't understand why some people have to get shitty in 5 posts or less?

On that note do you think they tolerate this shit over at LightFighter.net? GlockTalk? SurvivorBlog?

Seriously we need to help Rah right the No0b intro so we have a tool to hand these guys.

Do fuzz beards count?

If one thing is said and taken out of context there could be legal ramifications in regard to these peoples ages, and if none of yall can see that then its your problem have at it.

Exactly. Up to this point, we've all assumed we could deal with any problems in a civilized, logical manner. We didn't count on raw, unrestrained emotional responses from teenagers. I suppose we should have assumed it would happen. However, it does change things a lot, hence the current conversation. I think we all want to help younger people, but when you start getting into certain dangerous territory, it's just not worth the risk. I'm just trying to find that nice middle ground.

With that said, is NO ONE going to give me feedback on my earlier idea?

Over 18, with under 18 with a sponsor is one way to handle it.  I think the noob under 18 section was a better idea because it doesn't limit young people who find the site by other means than a sponsor.  Maybe by answering those questions there it will get them off on the right foot.  I'm wondering if Sky hadn't gotten the response he did if he would have gone where he did.

Just out of curiosity.  Who exactly are you referring too?  Cause a couple in here might enjoy that.

Ahh, you're just sore cause your cousin worked hard to get on the wrong side of some people.  I witnessed most of it and blaming them kind of puts you off base.  BWB  has been doing a lot better lately but for awhile there he was stirring as much shit as he could.

Hey Spirit, what would you say if I told you that your mom already had an account?

I am going to put this shit to bed right here, you guys can continue to go round and round about it but here it is.

All new members first post must be an introduction in their State Forum.

All new members must have a completely filled out profile.

Age is now required profile information.

Anyone Under 18 will only be allowed to post in the "Little Shits" section ( I'm not firm on the name )

Anyone Under 18 will not be allowed to read the VFW, Top Secret, For Sale or NSFW sections

Anyone Under 18 will not be allowed to buy or sell items on the forum

You are allowed to be stupid or young but not both.

SkyHawk's IP will be banned outright for slander and libel.

That is not the only reason, mainly because he has shown no respect for younger members and just wants them "banned". None of you can say that you were always mature and alot of people act like they've never asked a stupid question, i know i have.

Yes, and those rules DO NOT apply to the minors that are already onboard.

I think that's fair and shows a lot of wisdom.  You must be descended from Solomon.  LOL

You can't fault a man for saying what he thinks and taking a stand.  One thing about Wildturkey, you'll always know where he stands.  You'll come to appreciate that quality in people.  So many out there won't tell you where they stand until they're behind you with a knife in their hands.
