When we see videos like this (cops abusing their position) we have the same reaction:  Here's ANOTHER dirty cop.  But it's not us...  These guys are getting more and more insane with power everyday.  You can hear the florida officer saying he blows through their all the time.  Thank god mr miami PD is fucking around and not actually policing the streets because that would be scary.

I think that she ( the FHP ) was actually doing the right thing here. Or at least trying to.
There is no reason for that dude to be going 120 just because he thought he was going to be late.
I give props to the FHP chick. Good for her.

I mean look at it this way, It would be like me an E-4 chewing into an E-6's ass for being fucked up. Yeah, I'll be seeing the commander but if the crime fits I will ensure a victory after the enitial ass chewing.

He still got off easy.  He was doing double the speed limit.  It should have been a speeding ticket in the thousands.  Any average citizen would have been hauled off to jail and probably would have had their license yanked.

Still it's good to see FHP pull the jerk over.  The FHP officer said she see's that police car blowing through there all the time and they could never catch it.

No uniform is above the law, and he broke it. You need to understand that without obedience to that law he swore an oath to uphold, his badge and uniform mean nothing. It might as well be a costume. I could wear it and it would have the same effect. He took advantage of his status as a peace officer to accomplish unlawful activities that furthered personal goals. Unlawful and, in my opinion, detestable from any person in a similar situation.

Funny thing is, I always wanted to be a peace officer and I always say if I ever make it I'll probly be shot cos I'm pulling over every officer who is abuseing their power ie no seat belts speeding with no emergency steping on a citizens rights etc. My uncle messes with locals all the time wont say what department hes in but they cant touch him and he knows it he loves doing the same thing to them that they do to the normal citizen
