In the past 2 weeks, I've started hearing the words "Civil Unrest" in various places. The Government keeps saying that everything is wonderful but everybody else is saying that the toilet has been flushed and everybody is fighting to keep from being flushed down the drain. Hmmmmm..... Let me see, should I believe the Government or should I believe my own lying eyes? I'm going to predict that we are going to see more and more crime coming from people who would normally be law abiding. I had lost count of my Silver stacking, so I drug it all out last night and did a count. WOW! I was pretty darn close to correct from memory. Now, I have to decide if what I have is enough or should I go "All in" and buy more. I can tell you that I started out prepping with a lone wolf mentality and evolved into a MAG mentailty. I feel a lot safer in the MAG mentality and I occasionally chat with my neighbors about what's happening and how it won't be long before we will need to turn those 2 way radios on 24/7 because things are going to go South pretty soon. No, don't even ask, we do not have MAG meetings but we do chat with each other fairly often. They believe what I've been telling them but they still have a bit of Normacy Bias. When it gets right in their face, attitudes and prepping habits will quickly change. originally, I thought the SHTF would be an all of a sudden thing but over the years I've watched it slowly evolve. Its been like slowly going blind. you notice it but don't think much about it because you put it off as just getting older. The problem is that its like going down a hill in a soapbox derby. At first you think its never going to get up to speed but at the end, you are hauling ass. I also feel like its a fist fight. Are you goinjg to just keep moving forward and running your mouth or are you going throw a punch and let's get this show on the road.
