I carry a 505 Gibbs in my bug out bag because there are polar bears on the same continent as me and I'm not one to be out gunned. Sure the primary source of game in my local is squirrels and rabbits but what if I bump into a polar bear that is 2000 miles off his bearing?

You are all fools for thinking that shot placement is key... fools I tell you!

Well here we go....I would carry my 10/22 in a troy aluminum stock with a 42mm trijicon tritium\fiber optic site as well as my 2nd generation 0-6x nightvision scope and 20 ruger 25 round mags and four varieties of rounds to total 5000 rnds. The wife and I would both carry our Walter p22's as well.

I hate to leave my SIG piston ARs behind but the scenario isn't combat. I promise a bad day for anyone or anything that my site lands on with my 10/22.

I also thought about packing my keltech sub2000 in glock 9mm with six 33 rnd glock 18 mags and our glock 26's with 2000 rounds.

I see no problem with carrying the 22 in the BOB. I would also have other firearms though. If I have to bug out, I will be taking my family and they will all be carrying something and each will be carrying a weapon. As we go and scenarios change, we will adjust accordingly. Starting out, I would rather have too much than not enough. If it gets to be too much, we will lighten the loads as we go. Once all of our supplies dwindle and we have narrowed everything down to bare necessities, well, we'll still have our firearms and TacOps change.

I smell yet ANOTHER Ruger recall.
We've had 3 of these take-downs returned already.

Apparently they shoot all over the place, can't even get the things on paper with no consistency as far as grouping is concerned.

Save your money boys.

The video shows fairly consistent grouping, nothing like what customers have been complaining about. Maybe they are exaggerating, maybe we got a bad batch.

Won't know for sure until i get to shoot one.

I have recently had my brain on a 30 carbine M1 & a ruger blackhawk in 30 carbine. I think that combo would be pretty B/A

I like me a Marlin 60 but a little Ruger MK2 pistol would be enough for small game. Just be sure that you are very accurate with it before you start hunting small game with a pistol.
