I'll be damned if crappy weather was going to stop me from going to the range for a function check on this finally (got this in the spring). FUN FUN FUN!!!
Yugoslavian m57, based on the Soviet TT33. This version has a slightly longer grip (good for my big hands), for 9+1 rounds. And this 7.62x25 cartridge? Nice and powerful, kinda a pocket AK. Went through nearly a 100 round bag of surplus Bulgarian before the rain called it quits. Not the most accurate ammo, besides some split necks, but generally was able to put rounds on target consistently. Able to reach out well past 25 yards if I do my part. Nice solid old gun and ran like a champ. Had two original magazines that came with the gun and two new-made mags made by Zastava, the factory who built the gun originally back in the late 1950's. Will make a GREAT shtf/out in the heavy woods gun. Going to get some Wolf hp's to try.
