Good looking Rifles, keep 'em coming!
and lets try to remove the picture tags "[img]" in our replies so we don't get alot of double images back to back... oh and quit talking shit about which is better. That shit frustrated the hell out of me at L&L. If you want to make a case that is well educated and informed then feel free to do so in your own thread. It would be a benifit to the community as opposed to "derrr I don't like that raffle cos 308 is goes booomm biiger" that ever one loved so much.
Jeez what did you do with the glock, drop it in some Saw dust?
Ken i dig that rifle so much. you really put your heart and soul into it. i believe a custom rifle says something about the operator and this is just a beauty.

Just a quick question on the 870,
Does that Knoxx hurt when you fire it?
I fired one on a mossberg 500 and it didn't hurt nearly as bad it worked and felt great. but when i use it on the 870 it feels like i'm getting butt stroked in the face.

I noticed a significant reduction in recoil; but had to extend the stock out farther than I'd liked to because I kept getting punched in the face by the tube. I guess it's a double edged sword; either your shoulder thanks you but you get Tyson'd in the cheek, or you have an awkward length of pull. And if you notice it has a very weird angle from center of bore. I honestly don't feel as though it's worth the $70ish bucks. I just had a hard-on for it because it was "all the rage" when it came out. But like I've found with most Blackhawk products...it wasn't worth the money you spend on it. :-\
I have a hard time getting the BLKTalons in .45acp. I've had these for years. I have a few boxes.
9mm on the other hand, I buy those by the 50 for $30. They haven't all dried up yet.
painted it
I love that Ace Folder Tech, what do you think about it?
What about them is more comfortable Dave?
Finally got a DM rifle.

I was going to ask you "what in the wide world of sports are you rocking" Reaver.
tell us what you got Reaver. I'm not up to speed on the Commie stuff.
I'm with you, I have always thought that women would be most effective in an overwatch role.

Hey Tech,
Pros and Cons?
Jealous again by the way!
personally i think you would be better with irons for the time being while you saved for a better optic
no offense

well i want it for coyote hunting, i mean i could buy a nice hunting scope and slap it on with rings, but i dont want to take off my carry handle, with that is the best of both worlds. but i see where your coming from.
Yeah was wondering because my dad has a bushmaster and was thinking about getting a scope for it like this since it has no rail system, and geez how do u afford 5k rounds for a AR lol.
hahhaa 8)
Love just blowing you out on FB...shit is fucking awesome

When are we going to get to see the rest of that photo Nola?
that rear sight, how much was it? my uncle built some ARs and put those sights on them, he bought some that were $22 and one flat out broke off after about 15 rds..

Sounds about right.
Mine was $30 and it is crap.
Im just in a bit of a financial spot right now and its hard to anything firearm related.
The POS flips back down when you fire, i fucking hate it.
Im gong to a non-flip rear ASAP.
one thing on the MBUS, make sure its real. theres this guy at my gun shows who builds and sells cheap ARs with fake MBUSs on them. not that big a deal but when your buying them make sure. the real ones have a magpul symbol on them, they dont say MBUS and they FLY open, the ones this guy has barley open on there own.

good point. I'd encourage anyone who's even the slightest bit interested to go to the gunshop and play with a Magpul MBUS. you'll notice right off the bat the the SECOND your finger flips the switch, that mother fucker flips up like a damn rat-trap. it's a VERY well put-together product. don't be fooled by immitations.
I'm completely satisfied with the rear MBUS I have. It's affordable and it works well. My only gripes with it are engaging the plastic aperture window from small to large takes a second; not at easy as just quickly flipping. And if you're running straight irons with no optic the sight can get caught up in kit and disengage to it's closed position if you're not paying attention. Leaving you with a folded rear sight when you bring your weapon on target. They should have made a two way locking system. But what the hell, it's a polymer Magpul product that's a cheap solution to higher end expensive accessories. I also haven't found a use for the no aperture window function; why not just flip the sight down?
I drank the Magpul kool-aid a little too much when building my AR. I will say I'm not a huge fan of the handgaurd. Sucker moves around and is looser than my ex wife. Will be dropping money soon on a nice rail system, perhaps troy, MI, DD or YHM....haven't decided yet.
man that rifle gave me a wicked hard on, im jelly
Ken, I would love to have that pistol-grip stock on the 870, but I'm just not convinced that it would hold up well to heavy hits (against hard or soft objects ;) ). I say this because I hefted a similarly modified 870 at a gun show and wasn't impressed with its durability. What brand is yours? How well does it withstand abuse? Could you use the back as a blunt force weapon without fear of the stock breaking (my main concern)?
I might even be willing to sacrifice the extra shells on my buttstock carrier to have the pistol grip, but I'm just not convinced of its reliability. :(
Someone requested that I show my newly acquired Sig SP2022So have you shot your new Sig? Interested in what you think of it.

Rah EJR shot steel cased thru his sig last time we went to the range it did good, no issues with it at all.
Not yet. I have VERY little expendable ammo, 2/3 of it being steel jacketed I was given by a friend (not sure if I'm supposed to shoot that or not :-\ ). I'm waiting for a time when my dad and I can go to the range together (for the first time! yeehaw!). I'll PM you a report when I do. Or, I can post it here for everyone to see.Just post a report on the board, sure others will be interested too.
That's some hot looking porn WW. LOL! Congrats!Thank ya. People can knock it if they like, but this HK is sweet. Only down side right now is the upper rail mount is a bit pricey.

Thanks. It's a Dark Ops 5x25. I've had it for awhile and was planning on using it when I got my .338, but I figured what the hell I can always change them out later. what kind of glass you got there man?
Great looking rifle btw
It feels good to be on "team savage", everyone has 700's and i really prefer the model 10, although 700's are fantastic rifles too.
Hey ken
What's your reason for running shotgun as a primary. Just curious?
Hey ken
What's your reason for running shotgun as a primary. Just curious?
he lives in california, so running 10rds or less is only possible option, plus and they neuter ar's and others with gay little bullet buttons
he's a a freakin sniper so he really only needs something for out to 100yds and there is no better option for that than the 12guage riot shotgun
so he kinda figured a 8rd shotgun would maximize his fire power for his state/ AO
correct me if i'm wrong kentactic

Most of that shit can be taken off of your rifle if you want it to be like a "freestate" one. Most of it isn't welded on unless they made it a top loader like an SKS (Most PTR-91/FAL are like that in CALI). You can also own hi-capacity mags . . .kinda! They just have to be disassembled and in pieces.
The way I see it. If you need to walk out your front door with an AR then all that shit has probably gone out the window. Get that crap off yer rifle and assembled your mags.
Very nice, specs please NOLA

Where are the fucking pictures? I thought this was supposed to be a gun porn thread, not a talking about guns thread.
All I see are words, now where are the fucking pictures?
whats with the duct tape cornkiller?
I live in Europe right now it will be awhile till they are used again.
this is something I've been wondering about for a while:
in order to change the bolt from right to left, do you have to buy a new bolt with a lefty charging handle, or can you literally just take it out and roll it over to the other side?
I'm in love with the SCAR-H, well just all the SCARs. Are they really as amazing as everyone makes them out to be?
I just gotta ask, the 700 in 300blk with 3 barrels. Standard thread in or am I missing something. Also curious if there's something different about barrel #3 (bottom one)?
Gawdamn that is a big piece of glass!
ruger blackhawk? my uncles got one its pretty badass
and i dig that rifle, horry chit its purty

Pretty darn good considering a clean unfouled bore. Would love to see shots 15-20+
My 700 throws 1MOA groups for the first 10-15 rounds on a totally clean, unfouled bore. After that it drops down to .5MOA or better.

With 210 SMK's it was punching same hole 5rnd groups, same day, same distance.
Those were handloads, loaded by the the guy that built my rifle. He shoots better than I do.
Hindsight being what it is, I'm gonna throw some bottom metal on the gun. Probly AI mag compatible.
@Grudgie
All that metal and no Frog Lube in sight...tsk, tsk, tsk.

lol i get so much shit from the guys in my squad for my love of the frog lube and detest of the CLP.
I've been researching a little about Frog Lube and I am really liking what I am seeing. Where do you folks buy it?I just buy whatever the best deal on amazon is at the time. It's usually sold in a 2-pack (1 tub, and 1 liquid). I use the tub at home and the liquid when I'm out and about.
Im sure frog lube works good but what lube works poorly? Ive never had a gun issue and blamed the lube for the problem.
But wd40 isn't a good lube. Neither is suck @$$ rem oil. CLP is the only decent lube I've found other than Vaseline.
everyone hates on remoil, i have yet to get someone with a real reason too
I hate rem oil because after cycling my AR bolt 3 times it mysteriously evaporates.Quoteeveryone hates on remoil, i have yet to get someone with a real reason too

meh... CLP aint so bad. it certainly isn't the latest and greatest stuff on the market, but detest? nahh. I use the stuff from time to time out of laziness. as with any "all-in-one" product, you sacrifice a little quality and functionality for convenience. six one way, half-dozen the other.
Another thing to think about it the history of the rifle. If it's got no history or mis-matched parts you might want to think about rechambering it for 308.
Ken, more than you ever wanted to know about it. (http://yarchive.net/gun/rifle/garand_308.html)
Grudgie, there is nothing more American than improving on an already great product.
I was lookin around like what mag carriers lol... the straps holding the turney on... got it..
Been awhile, I recently purchased a Mak-90, Saiga 7.62x39, and a Glock 26 Gen4.
I also got a aimpoint micro and a surefire for my Egyptian Maadi.

That is one SWEET lee-enfield! Sexiest rifle in the world if you ask me. Elegant, timeless lines. Kinda like the hi-power for pistols or an astin martin for cars. Some things never go out of style: Chuck Taylors, VW bugs, etc.

Look for Spanish Enfields in .308.. easy to find.
Funny you mention ishapore enfields. I just bought one last week. I had been looking for one for a long time. Man is that bolt fast! I'll get some pics of it up after a while.
There was another one for sale in my area recently. If you want I could try and track it down and ship it to you on your dime.
