so i have been looking for a cheap way to boost firepower of my group and i keep coming back to getting one of these and putting it on an ar15 kida a poor mans 249  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

anyone heard anything about the reliability of the mag?

They can't handle sand, mud or gritty contamination. A rubber mag condom comes with them for a reason. Wet oils make the problem even worse which is why they also come with dry lube (graphite) and a warning not to use liquid lube. Probably be a handy mag for grabbing and burning while in or exiting the indoor world in a hurry though.

The Korean clones are even less reliable than their US made counterparts so stay away from them.  I've played with both on the range and honestly can say I didn't care for either.  You might want to take a look at the X series made by XS systems - those have gotten pretty good reviews. 

FWIW probably the closest civvie thing I have handled that would fit the compact saw role was an AK SBR using a Korean 75 round wind up with a slidefire stock.  Guy had a quad rail on it with a VFG and RDS and it functioned really well.  Well enough to do a drum dump.

Why not go with surefire 60 or 100 rounders? I think they're cheaper to.
