A good friend of mine sent me this map, best to overlay with other maps (farm roads, water, contour etc.). God help us all.

Zoom in. Overlay with road maps. Total zoom I think is 10. So, roads with less green I think, less green meneer.

I must say that I am rather surprised at the number of purple dots still in Gauteng.

I am a bit surprised at the lack of any dots in a very large part.  I presume that is desert/heavy jungle area?  Lots of area to GOOD as a destination.

From that map it seems that the main issue there is race based and the long ago/currently imagined insensitivity to the black culture?

Yes all sarcasm.  Seems more like the black issue really is govt gotta give me more and if they don't I am going to riot.

Similar over here but more of a snowflake (folks age 15-30 or so) learning that as an adult what you want does not always happen issue.  Real life says you get to lose sometimes.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

Correct, Nemo, that entire area is desert. There are a few lamb and ostrich farmers there but it's generally considered unusable. There are a few projects looking at turning it into solar farms and I've even looked into buying some land there for an off grid community but a lot of it is "natural preservation" areas (absolute bullshit because now someone wants to start frakking there).

Once again Nemo, spot on. I've been bitching about the damned special snowflakes all week because they're a bloody waste of space and then adding fuel to the fire is the fact that the vast majority of that generation here are "PREVIOUSLY disadvantaged" and now still blame all their shortcomings on the way that my grandparents treated theirs, something that I had no part in (read "I" as "current generation whiteys").
I'd rather be crazy than dead.

Also similar to what you're experiencing is the fact that it's politically driven but it's actually directly instigated by the political leaders from both the ruling party and their off shoot which has now become the third party. Where they have openly and publicly stated that the black youth should just go out and take whatever they want from the white people, through whatever means, because we owe it to them.

The ruling party promised free medical care, basic services and education and when they couldn't deliver blamed it on the fact that the previous regime didn't make provision for it.

The president tells his people that there aren't funds in the coffers for infrastructure maintenance (and blames this on a guy who's been dead for 400+ years) while one of his properties is a self sustaining compound where R246million was spent just on "security upgrades". Now this is a man without a secondary level education who has never had a real job.
