Just posted this on a camping topic at UP and thought we should hear/read some of your favorite bug bites and sting remedies.
Talking about bug bites: A good friend dabs tooth paste on bug bites. She claims that the tooth paste alleviates the itch and helps to bring down the swelling. I haven't tried it yet as bugs tend to not "bug" me however she swears by it.
Although bugs don't seem to bite me I do get stung on occasion. When I get stung I take a Benadryl ASAP. This seems to reduce the inflammation and sting within 20-25 minutes.
What are your bug bites/sting remedies?
