Interesting event that happened to me.

Up at the BOL I needed to send something via USPS to Frosty. I bellied up to the counter with the package and was told it was $X.XX. I pulled out a $20- bill and the postal clerk just stared at me. Then said she couldn't take a $20- bill as she didn't have change. She then suggested that I pay with CC or debit card.

I asked her why she didn't have change for a $20 she told me that I was only her third customer and she had given money out as a ATM to earlier customers who had made purchases.

I told her no. And pointed out that she was representing the USPS and she needed to figure it out. She got very flustered and again STRONGLY suggested I use my debit or credit card. I explained to her that I didn't have one (A little fib) and suggested that she find her supervisor.

She walked off in a huff and returned with a rubberbanded stack of cash and she completed the transcation.

Slightly different then the video however similar.

Recently had the obligatory fb eye visit and the passing mention of the dhs "see something snitch something" policy. I resisted the urge to click my heels and salute as deserved but it did pass thru my mind. It also passed thru that I wanted to be home for supper the rest of this year.
