Been checking out the trailers for this upcoming, and much-hyped movie. Looks pretty good. Haven't read the novel.

Apparently it's quite different from the novel. But, that being said, the movie still looks pretty good. I might have to illegally download it lol.

I heard that it is different from the movie. And the trailer seems to indicate it is using the storyline from the " Day by Day Armageddon" trilogy more specifically the third book I believe it is either known as "zero hour" or "patient zero".

Yeah the story in the movie looks like it's going to be way different than the book.

If you haven't picked up the book you should.  Its such a great read.  Very well thought out and keeps you turning the page  :coffeeNews:

Here is volume 1 and 2 in a combined book for Day by Day Armageddon
http://www.amazon.com/Day-Armageddon-Origin-Exile-Books/dp/1451633033/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1370541886&sr=8-4&keywords=day+by+day+armageddon

And the third one that sounds similar to the film storyline of World War Z

The author is active duty military and the third one is from the perspective of a ragtag spec ops group pieced together from different branches because there are so few survivors. I believe they LRRP into China.
