Title: World War Z, the movie
Post by: crudos on June 04, 2013, 12:12:47 PM: Been checking out the trailers for this upcoming, and much-hyped movie. Looks pretty good. Haven't read the novel.

I heard that it is different from the movie. And the trailer seems to indicate it is using the storyline from the " Day by Day Armageddon" trilogy more specifically the third book I believe it is either known as "zero hour" or "patient zero".

If you haven't picked up the book you should. Its such a great read. Very well thought out and keeps you turning the page :coffeeNews:

The author is active duty military and the third one is from the perspective of a ragtag spec ops group pieced together from different branches because there are so few survivors. I believe they LRRP into China.
