Id like to see a test on one that wasnt arching out like that to see what it reads... for all we know that will happen on a normal air cleaner and his s just messed up and the only reason he tested it was because it was sparking and shit. bassically its bad science at this point because theres no control.

if theres an ambient rdiation wouldnt it make sense that an air cleaner sucking in all that ambient radition and collecting it would read a lot higher.... thats my thoughts at this point.

swap gas reflected off a pond and made the display look like 3000+ counts.
No, but seriously I'm on the fence about this. this could just be his air cleaner malfunctioning. a control experiment is needed to prove validity.

I agree, however I dont have the 1000 bucks needed to get both those items or I would try it.  Anyone wanna donate to a worthy scientific endeavor? lol :))

This is not good.   Very bad indeedy.
I don't have one of those fancy electrostatic filters, but I do have a HEPA filter.  So I pulled out my trusty geiger counter.  Mine is not as fancy as dutchsinse's but it does the job.  Well, lo and behold it registered about twice as many "ticks" when held up to the filter.

yeah im not convinced that theres anything wrong with radioactive particles collecting in a filter meant to collect particles is such a bad thing. if theres a known ambiant level.... it would only make sense that it will collect and be concentrated in the filter....

That's the problem.
There will be a higher count on the filter, but registering 3000+ counts in a 10 minute period sounds a little excessive.
If i was in area that was picking up that much radiation i'd be on high alert and trying to get out of there.

1) I am glad to see that Dutchsence is back. As you remember he dropped off the radar in August.

2) Also, if you remember he was doing a similar thing with hail stones in May. He was also
predicting HAARP weather attacks during that time. If I remember correctly the hail was reading
    above 100 CPM.

3) I don't know but if I was him I wouldn't live in St Louis.  :)) On another note: I wonder if the
elevated solar flares we have been experiencing over the past several week has anything to do
    with this?

I think people should buy some dam fans instead of this dangerous stuff.
Fan out your shots. We want everyone to get some.

I dont see the solar flares causing it since the reading is coming off particles captured from the air, not from a something exposed to the radiation from the sun.

And spirit, its not the fan thats dangerous its what its catching from the air lol.
