Old news but it looks like this dept could use some additional training.

I probably wouldn't have known what it was either until it went off.  Man, the things these guys are taught in prison.  When you consider that somewhere around 60 percent of prisoners are locked up for nonviolent drug offenses.  It makes you wonder if we are making the problem worse.

They get out of prison with a record, have trouble finding a job that will pay them enough to live on, and now they have these new skills they picked up in prison.  Maybe we haven't quite thought this through.

Ah, the old Zip gun.. don't point either end at you! I've seen some designs that were obviously salted by some three letter outfit. Most would throw the 'firing pin' and shell out just as hard as the bullet.

Just on a side note guys, making Zip Guns is against the law something fierce.

We would do well to not incriminate ourselves. ;)

If your zip gun has a pistol grip your in the clear as far as the revenuers are concerned. Check your local laws though.

I'm not thrilled with this no edit issue but I understand it.

Make sure you also have a rifled barrel or it gets classed as an any other weapon and requires proper paperwork and tax stamp.
