this is an email I just sent to my sheriff regarding Richard Mack and his organization. tell me what you think of it.

There is an unnerving trend in today's federal administration (compounding upon the actions of prior administrations) to undermine the American people's 2nd Amendment rights, as well as other vital constitutional rights. I implore you to join the efforts of former Graham County, Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack in protecting the gun rights of your constituency within Jefferson Parish, and the local Sheriff's legal authority within his own jurisdiction. The organization's web address is  http://cspoa.org/. The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.


I am in no way affiliated with this organization. I am simply a supporter, and felt the need to inform my local Sheriff of the organization's existence.


Jefferson Parish Sheriff Harry Lee asserted his authority to the federal government during the chaos that ensued as a result of hurricane Katrina. He threatened any federal agent with arrest by JPSO S.W.A.T. if they had nerve enough to violate the terms and conditions of his authority as JP Sheriff. I urge you to find within yourself the same courage as Sheriff Lee had and join former Sheriff Richard Mack in his stand against the federal government's encroachments upon your authority as Sheriff of Jefferson Parish.
