It's 1:55 AM and Silver just bounced off of $34 oz. and is just a few cents under it. I'm guessing that this is it. I think it will slowly climb and have a few small pull backs while its upward travel.

And a week later.

Fox News just ran a mention of gold markets in a story on the economy.  Is it people fearing more inflation or national election or the new numbers (GDP, Inflation, Natl Debt) on the health of the U.S. economy coming out this week.

The news media begrudgingly mentions the economy every now and then so they can at least say they have reported it. It's kind of like not mentioning that Stevie Wonder is blind. Maybe if we don't mention it, Stevie won't notice that he is blind. They pretty much think that the people are complete idiots. Hmmmm.... From what I've seen, they may be right. :coffeeNews:

Oh No.... I couldn't stand it any longer. I just had to buy the dip. I had no plans to buy any more Silver, but I just couldn't stand it. I went to town today and bought a bit more Silver. Fortunately, when I got home, the price had gone up a little. The whole world is buying all the Silver they can get their hands on and we, in the US, are sitting on our thumbs and letting the world pass us by. :coffeeNews: It wouldn't be prudent to advertise how much I bought, but let's just say it was more than 10 ounces and less than 100. When I got home, I got out my "Ping Coin" app and checked each one and they all came up as real. When you live in a world where a Krispy Creme Doughnut used to cost 10 cents and now it cost $1.50, there is definitely something seriously wrong with our money policy. OK, OK, I know that today, I have to live in both worlds, where I also need Dollars, but I'll be ready for the crash and will survive. When the Puppeteers no longer can pull the strings, Silver will not be worth what "THEY" say it's worth, but it will be worth what "I" say it's worth. Now, for my pet peeve: I have people tell me all the time, "You can't eat Silver". OK, smartass, let me see you eat dollar bills. :pissed:  I have a close friend who is all in on GOLD and I can't convince him to also buy Silver. Gold is great if you want to buy a House or a new Car, but what about small items like clothes or groceries? Oh, well, at least my friend will survive the crash.

PKv wrote, "I have a close friend who is all in on GOLD and I can't convince him to also buy Silver."

Two things...

1) You need to diversify, and
2) You use gold to buy big things, e.g. cow, tractor, horse, truck, etc. and you use silver to buy small stuff, e.g. medical, food, ammo, services, etc.

And gold hit $2748 on October 31, the highest in10 years.
