@Sledge- Not quite. Prophetically speaking the 1st seal in Revelations refers to a rider on a white horse with a bow. Many, including myself, believe this refers to a middle eastern uprising in which we'll see those Islamic nation forming alliances to try and tackle western society. The specific bow reference is linked to the Persians. The second seal being the red horse is believed to relate to communist nations (Russia,China) allowing war. People can say the USSR never fell, but in reality it's all a facade and we know it. Especially with Putin wanting to get back in and restore things. Keep in mind that election is right around the corner. After this war begins the next two seals are broken which specifically relate to economic collapse, famine, and disease. From a biblical stand point the "anti-christ" would have already been in some saet of authority up to this point. From a dogmatic Judao-christian perspective the 12th Imam is the anti-christ. In reality they already believe he is here, but hasn't revealed himself. If these events begin you can pretty much bet on seeing his face within 3 years and it's because they're emboldened by him.
I can't say that I totally disagree with the dogma on this. However, traditionally when studying the Old Testament you'll find that the descendants of Ishmael and Esau, whose families merged, are the roots of Islamic faith. Now God did have a covenant with both bloodlines, but Esau was repeatedly said to be hated by God. Also, historically and prophetically Esau's descendants were the one's to destory Babylon and kill king Nimrod. They were also repeatedly allowed to go against the nation of Israel when they fell away from God and began worshipping false gods or sinning abundantly. Not to piss anyone off, but there's a scary amount of evidence pointing towards the US as a modern Babylon/Israel. If anyone would read or watch those videos I recommended by the Rabbi talking about 9/11 they'd start to see why. There's a very rich history of prophecy behind what happened that counters what anyone here really has to say regarding conspiracies or "blowback."
When you start to look at the world as a whole and see what's happening a much deeper plot unfolds and you really have to decide which side of the fence you want to be on. A lot of Christians have begun to subscribe to this Nicolaism dogma that preaches "saved by faith alone." And the same ones are preaching the Rapture doctrine in a twisted light. They seem to think there is going to be some great escape with no pain or suffering. In the blink of an eye they'll be saved.
Highly unlikely. Jesus himself said "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." I'm sure this probably seems a little, ok very, confusing, but this is why it's important for people to be studying and learning the written prophecy so they'll be able to test the spirits and the false prophets that come. People need to really understand that when it comes to this time period in history it won't be some great elaborate deception that causes people to make a 180 degree turn. It'll be just gradual enough to think you're still on course. I use the visual of taking two pencils and sticking a dime between the tips. Side by side they look the same, but the further you move them forward that dime creates a wedge and the next thing you know you're on two opposite corners of a room.
