Gold is back above the $1,900 ceiling after a $200- correction in June from May. I suspect it is due to the elevated noise of war with Russia.
It has been reported via many channels that our military have been instructed to stop training for conventional warfare and redirect training towards bio/nuclear war. I have learned from two sources, one in the military and one just retired, that there is a renewed vigor in the aforementioned training complete with the swapping out of kits addressing bio/nuclear war.
Not confirmed, however, worth mentioning and hoping some others here will add to the discussion; Marines on the west coast are turning in basic issue uniforms for tropical uniforms. NOT CONFIRMED. If true why?
All interesting stuff. Keep an eye on gold this month. Tom Luongo and Martin Armstrong (Economists) are predicting that gold will be above the $2K an ounce by month end.
