The Weaponization Of Our Banking System
« on: July 03, 2023, 06:39:11 PM »
The gloves are off, and bank-government collusion is now in plain sight for all to see. First we had the abrupt, arbitrary and capricious weaponization of the Canadian banking system by the WEF-trained young leaders Justin Trudeau and his (former journalist) finance minister Chrystia Freeland. <By the way, just announced is that Trudeau is promoting Freeland to deputy Prime Minister.> And now we have the British banks directly interfering with British politician and political commentator Nigel Farage (well known as a leader of the Brexit movement). Nigel is being completely frozen out of his accounts and any ability to engage in banking activities in the UK. - Who Is Robert Malone

Remember, the EU is the canary in the mine for the USA.

Everyone can name their idea of the time when Constitutional Rule of Law had its throat slashed.    For me, the definitive event arrived when "the gloves came off" with persecution and mistreatment of J6 participants.   And when only we individual deplorables complained about it, and nobody with power did squat about it, the green light lit up big time.
Uncle Klaus with his "You will eat bugs, own nothing, and be happy" seemed a bit over his skis when he first pronounced it in our hearing.    Now, tell me he wasn't speaking from a position of knowing...
I become "convinced" of things slowly.
But the idea (conspiracy theory) that we will be participating in a much larger/wider war coming soon as a means to feed the "military/industrial complex" and international banking interests and provide excuses for ever encroaching loss of freedoms (for the safety of our democracy, dontcha know, do it for the children) looms ever larger.    Complete with suspended elections (or ALL mail-in, no worries, the Fed Postal system guarantees, yadda, yadda, yadda), FDR-style confiscation of PMs, "martial law" and squads rounding up gun owners who don't follow the peaceful Australian model.
Even our access to news - all of the canaries in coal mines we like to watch... how much is up on the MSM about what is happening in France?    Where are the discussions of what this means, what it might portend?
We are steadily being "siloed".
Trust your eyes and ears - what goes on around you is a connected and a result of what's happening farther away.    But coming to your own neighborhood theatre soon.

If they can't legally take your guns, they will make it easy to track guns and ammo.   So they know where to go when they start to take them illegally.

And make it so you must pay cash.

Everyone should go back to the cash/barrelhead thing anyway.

As Americans frequently utilize credit to purchase a wide array of things for everyday living, it should come as no surprise that one anti-Second Amendment congressman has decided that firearms purchases using one form of credit should be illegal. Specifically, it should be illegal for semi-automatic rifles that might fall under the political definition of ?assault weapons.?

Rep. John B. Larson (D-Conn.) is attempting to do just this with H.R. 4289, the ?Assault Weapons Financing Accountability Act.?

According to the bill?s text, an importer, manufacturer, or retailer selling a firearm under a ?Buy Now, Pay Later? (BNPL) financing agreement would be subject to a $100,000 civil fine. Likewise, the purchaser of a firearm bought using BNPL would be subject to the $100,000 civil fine.

In a press release touting this proposed legislation, Larson says, ?Banning use of instant financing like BNPL options for assault weapons and the ghost gun kits [to make such rifles] is a step toward reducing the instant accessibility of these weapons and preventing the tragedies of gun violence before they occur.?

The elitism of it all is rather staggering, as Larson is effectively telling Americans they can?t use credit to purchase lawfully made and lawfully sold products. This legislation is certainly in line with other recent attempts by gun-control proponents to attack the right of citizens? to purchase firearms some people simply do not like by impeding their access to the financial marketplace.

The anti-Second Amendment founder of Mom?s Demand Action, Shannon Watts, for example, is on record proposing that credit-card companies should be able to block their cards from being used to purchase firearm parts.

Closely related to this idea is the announcement by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that it would create a new Merchant Category Code (MCC) specific to firearm and ammunition retailers?and, in the process, likely create a gun registry.

The ISO announcement followed a petition by Amalgamated Bank to create such a code just for gun stores. That petition was supported by some of the top anti-Second Amendment politicians, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and New York Mayor Eric Adams (D), as well as the anti-gun groups Giffords and Guns Down America.

BNPL financing for firearms is offered by the company Credova. A prospective buyer applies for the BNPL financing as part of their firearm purchase. If the BNPL request is approved, the sale goes through.

Larson falsely stated in the press release that the BNPL financing provides ?instant access? to firearms. Even if the BNPL purchase is approved, the buyer of the firearm still must successfully pass the required federal firearms background check, as well as any state-applicable checks and requirements, before a firearm can be transferred.

Like so many of the attempts to strangle Second Amendment rights, Larson and his allies claim that the ?Assault Weapons Financing Accountability Act? is needed to reduce ?mass shootings,? which they insist are being financed by BNPL even though they haven?t produced any data to support this claim.

Given the current political make-up of the U.S. House of Representatives, this bill is unlikely to gain traction. If both chambers of Congress were in line with the Biden administration?s view of our rights, however, then this could certainly become law.

I agree, Nemo.  Cash is king.  Silver and gold are even better.

OK, it was a slow day except for the distressing parts.
I'm of a mind to throw turds in the punch bowl, and get kicked off the list for bad behavior...
Here goes...
What makes _anyone_ think that PMs will serve as workable means of exchange IF the Powers-That-Be decree FDR-style that they are no longer acceptable means of exchange.  It is so EASY to ruin the "little guy" with lawfare before some "Supreme Court" rides to a belated rescue.    You traded _what_ for metals we decreed MUST be surrendered???  Uh-Oh... Those 87k -armed- IRS "agents" will just be itching to notch their guns. (an iffy proposition at best)
You silver stackers, what is the workable value of a hoard IF the "government" sez any and all traders in such shall be treated pretty  much like J6ers?      How, at this juncture, can anyone put such evil past the current gang in charge?
Now.    I am seriously considering moving a portion of assets INTO small denominational PMs of national recognition, "premiums" be damned.   Long term thinking only.
But with current drive to corral folks into a Digital Currency, how far behind can they be in coming down on privately-held PMs in whatever form?   Whether you hold them long term or plan to trade for fuel/eggs with them in some version of economic dystopia?
Short term?    I'm going with garden production, distillate production and perhaps some ammo bartering.
OK.  Wetted ox hide pulled over me... molon labe.

I liked your post even though it slammed Precious Metals. If we have another 1933 Gold confiscation, just remember that they didn't confiscate "Silver". Now, there is nothing to do right now but wait for the BRICS busting the world's economic system wide open on August 22 when they come out with their Gold Backed Currency. When that happens, we will have no choice but to back our money with Gold. If we don't then our fiat currency will be worthless on August 23rd. As for how to trade in PM's, the PM gurus say that we will have to use them to trade in our close area of operations at first. After a while, the area will spread. You have to look at it from a prepper position. We Preppers will be operating as far as possible outside the "SYSTEM". I personally am a Silver Bug because there actually could be a Gold confiscation and I don't want to be caught up in it.

OK, Pk, fair enough... the confiscation was for gold only, "back in the day".
And I am NOT "slamming" PMs.    Merely putting them to the "magnet and slide test".     I totally agree the Brics agreement shaping up for this Fall could be a yuuuge game changer.    Hench my interest in placing a bet on the winner, not the MSM favorite.
One thing that sticks in my curiosity craw is that supposedly, Central Banks are buying up available gold.   Yet my ETF in conventional 401k sees NO impact of this.

Interesting discussion.

I suspect IF .gov was to make the owning of gold illegal ala 1933, like the brace pistol rule, people would not turn in their gold.

Time will tell...

Yep Felix. All the BIG MONEY are buying every ounce of physical Gold they can get their hands on and telling people that Gold is a poor investment. Whatever the big boys are doing is what I'm doing. I'm just doing it on a poor mans budget.
