If a police thug beats the crap out of you for legal open-carrying and doing nothing wrong then the blood and bruises are the only documentation you need.  "Oh, that's never happened before..."

Hey Crudos, whaddya think the Department of Homeland Security is?  Our version of the FSB.  But worse.  I respect a regime more that says flat out you have no freedom versus the painting of illusory ones...

Americans unfortunately will only wake up to their shackles only when their comfortable existence is no more.  I've lived 42 years and I remember how free I was back in my younger life and how restricted I am now.  20-somethings have no basis for comparison and the baby-boomers are in denial and don't wanna rock the boat.

There is so much truth in your statement of how much freedom we have lost, and lose daily,  that it's really remarkable.  This was a totally different country in the 70's.  I'm sure that even then it was totally different than the 50's.

It's all a matter of two things.

Revenue generation for each of the different levels of government while telling us why what they are creating new laws and regulations for is good for us.

Sold out politicians giving advantages to those who fund them.

It is something that happens in very small increments usually.  So it is unnoticeable.  But when viewed in the full picture it is really quite astounding.

LOL Reaver. That was on tonight, but my wife wouldn't let me watch  :'( I guess when you've seen the same movie more than 20 times it's worn out it's welcome with some people. What can I say, it's my lineage.

That movie is epic.

Thought it would lighten the mood a little bit. Well see how it turns out  ::)

Awww, damn, my first smite was given to me. My smite-free record has ended. Smite me now, and I become more powerful than you can ever imagine.

Thanks for havin' my back, sledge.  I just have a snapshot in my mind of how free I was back then and how it is now.   There is stark contrast in freedom levels.  Incrementalism destroys when a society has no memory. [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

I'm not gonna lie, If America went to shit and we lost the constitution, I might go to Russia. I could do some good work in the mission field.

Not to pry man, but if you feel the call to do missions, than it sounds more like the Constitution and America are holding you back. And I'll tell you from experience. Don't deny the call.

Right now its more of a option, If I truly here the call, I won't hesitate to answer it.

Well, I'll put it to you this way.  My family came to this country from Scotland in the late 1600's, they came into South Carolina through Charleston port.  I've had a direct ancestors fight, bleed, and die in every conflict that we've ever had besides Vietnam and the latest unconstitutional wars.  Swamp Fox was my direct ancestors, and I had at least two of my direct ancestors who died in the civil war for the South, and others were wounded or fought unscathed.

I was born in Georgia in the 80's.  I will die in this country, one way or another, but I will never leave it or abandon it, either.

Each man has to make his own decisions and what is best for him and his family.  Nobody can tell another man what decisions he should make.  I've made my decision and I"m sticking with it.

Make your decision, and likewise, stick with it and follow it through to the end.  I know not what other man shall do...

i love this country it is the place of my birth and i will not abandon it, it has treated me well the Constitution has worked as it should in my favor many times, and also several times it has not thanks to 'shit bird' local 'law enforcement.' but i would much rather die fighting to keep myself out of a 'FEMA' or what ever camp, than on my knees to some tyrannical government, but i say that as a kid with no family, and no one depending on me to survive. i will not abandon this country. ill admit i have contemplated running off and joining the FFL (might sound crazy but its not that hard if you look into it, and would be pretty badass IMO) but my loyalty lies with the US and the Constitution, and no where else.

I love this country and will never give up on it. i hope to god i can get the clearance i need to accomplish my dream with all the stuff i call the Gov out on, but i mean its all public info. so i dont see why it would be a problem. God(s) bless America and the Constitution. long live the Republic!

That's fair enough. I'll more than likely be in the same boat, but if not I'll be sure to return after the storm, salvage, restore, and build you all a nice little monument.  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co
