I won one more over
« on: August 13, 2012, 04:22:56 PM »
I have been S.L.O.W.L.Y winning folks over to prepping. A good hunting buddy of mine just stopped by with his daughter to catch up.

During the "hay did you hear about this" or "Oh I have to tell you about this" exchange; he told me that his wife and he finally took my politicking to heart and are putting food and other supplies aside now.

I was pretty stoked and asked his daughter what she was putting away in her prepping. Expecting something in the realm of Barbie cloths or candy, she exclaimed, "fishing stuff!" Then she went on to tell me that she was going to participate in this years Cabelas Jr. duck/goose calling contest in CT.

Pretty good for an eight year old!  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

My point is: Keep talking to your family and friends. Steer them towards the right articles and forums, such as this one. Slowly entice them to come down the path of prepping.

Thanks EJR. We all have to keep up the steady drum of prepping with our families and friends.

Its not an easy road, believe me I know.  It takes a lot of persistence and patience, that is for sure.
