Been there, done that, have friends in similar situation, brother also. Never works long term.
There was a split for a reason. Pile of dollars to a single donut says that has not been corrected to the satisfaction of all involved.
Throw in the current other involved lady and you are soaked with gasoline while trying to get that new spark stick to throw a spark.
