I liked parts of it. The cinematography was really good. Certain components of the movie just didn't make it flow as I said before. If they would've gotten one more headshot in the fricking movie I would have screamed and kicked the person in front of me in the head. And the guy at the end? Tom Cruise isn't even that bullet resistant. And realism? Those headshots would've split some craniums to all hell. Music like I said was off at times. I guess what I should say is, coming from Navy SEALs trying to portray real life warfare, my expectations were A LOT higher.

I cannot seem to find it now, but I read an article about some Marines  brought up to trial for suspected execution of some insurgents due to how many headshots were taken  during the initial phase of the war. Further investigation showed  they were just excellent marksmen.


As for the dude taking a lot of rounds.  You did notice that he will probably never walk again, or use is right arm. Did you notice he saluted with his left?

Same concept as an EFP and that's about the only thing that can defeat American Armored Vehicles

A family friend of mine was actually doing that in Vietnam. They were experimenting with  a .30 bullet launched from a .50 caliber gun.
the problem is they were going so fast they would just shred the bullet.
