LOL. I would be jealous that i didn't think of it first. I'm sure they are making some money on stuff like that, with the zombie genre being so popular. Its pretty funny if you ask me. But i laughed my ass off the first time i saw tactical bacon.  :))

It kinda rubbed me the wrong way.  It's the exact opposite of being prepared.  Products like these are trying to entice stupid people to act stupid.  It evens says "Not a Toy," because they've given the box the full TMNT treatment.

so they took a good performing HP and filled it with some sort of plastic to make it act like a FMJ... i bet theres some poor fucker carrying this in his pistol right now thinking it works like a regular HP.

yea, it's my understanding that it functions similar to the nylon ballistic tips for rifle rounds (which are supposed to be much more devastating than a normal HP but I've never actually tested it for myself)

yeah but on a rifle round the tip is infront of the bullet and when it makes contact with the object it breaks off exposing a flatter face of a bullet. and a down side to those bullets is the BC is compromised because it doset have the little HP tip anymore..with this one its filling in the HP flush... maybe it works but i wouldnt buy it.

I've been under the impression that it doesn't break off, it smashes straight down into the bullet and forces it to expand immediately upon impact with soft tissue, rather than relying on the soft tissue itself to expand the bullet. I'm no expert, we all know that, lol. that's just what I've always assumed.

Here's Hornady's explanation.

Yes, as I understand it the Plastic Insert makes the HP Deform Better and enhances the expansion! I'm not fond of the Humorous side of this, But yes, some folks will buy that siort of thing and ya have to give then Credit for having the Courage to weather the crap they will hear about it? I'm sure it's Expensive as hell and I do like thier products but as someone said, That $ usually turnes me off or to someone else?

Seems rather silly to me. Sort of a gimmick for them to make more money off of stupid people.

If its the same price as vmax or other ammo they make, I have no problem with it.

I don't have a problem with them marketing it. As long as its up to the standard. Not above or below it. Especially if its the same exact price. I mean, then your just picking up the " Cool " shit, to talk smack to your buddies. When in all reality your carrying the same as you always would....

I'll stick to gold dot though. I mean if the enemy uses it. It's good enough for me.

"Zombie Defense" is the same thing as "Tactical" in marketing.

Everyone has an asshole I mean an opinion and I know for a fact that most people in executive protection, special operations personnel and the swat cops I know all use and recommend corbon dpx as the best man stopper for the price however there is better, unfortunately your gonna have to pay it to get it.
