i have nofuckingclue how that thing is supposed to work with a standard BCG (if it uses one)

If you read though the linked page you will see that the maker cut the tail off of the BCG, I can't recall who is manufacturing these uppers but someone is now.

They look like a bunch of junk tac-welded onto an upper.
