Illegal in Florida Sledge?

When I lived in CA. in the mid 80's it was the norm on the express ways. I am sure it is still ok now.  :))

Yeah, in Florida if you display a weapon with the intent of a threat it is classified as assault.  For instance, if you are in an argument with someone and lift your shirt to show the handle of your pistol that is assault. 

In the CC class they tell you not to show your weapon to anyone friend or foe.  Because if you ever get sideways with that person all they have to do is call 911 and say you displayed your weapon to them, whether you actually did or not, and they felt threatened.  If they can describe what your weapon looks like you may have a hard time beating it.

I keep a huge ass hitch that covers part of my plate on my truck.

no, when they want to get a road rage on me i simply pull over to let them go by, then on occasion they pull over to and try to escalate things
