Need Pepper Help

OK, as I have reported in the "I will show you mine if you show me yours" post that I have planted my seedlings for this years garden. All of the plants are doing well with the exception of the peppers.

The sweet peppers (Lipstick) and the Anaheim peppers have come up BUT not the Scotch Bonnet or the Chocolate Habanero have not come up yet. I have replanted those two about a week ago and still nothing green coming out of the brown potting soil.

Has anybody else had similar problems growing peppers from seed?

Afraid not.  Maybe you got a bad batch of seeds?  There are a few tricks you can try.  Bottom heat, like a seed mat, can help.  Soaking them in hydrogen peroxide for a couple hours or even a full day before planting.  Soaking them in water (changed at least once a day) until they sprout and then planting them.  Also, day length is important so if you're not supplementing light you may want to consider doing so.

The trays are on a grow mat and they are in a big window that faces SW.

I will try another batch after soaking in some H2O2.
