Johny, we went Friday afternoon, so it was a matinee, maybe 6 of us in the theater. We were near the middle of the theater, and everyone else was seated behind us, so I didn't get an opportunity to observe them.  The audio was very loud, especially near the end, and in real life, it would have been even louder (for those who have experienced firing inside buildings).  So we wouldn't have heard much else.  It was one of those Regal theaters in Knoxville, with something like 18 screens.  F'ing previews took about a half hour, I was getting frustrated because there were so many of them, and we're not planning on seeing any of the films based on the previews.

I need to be seated in the last row or I end up getting fidgety

The "foot soldiers" fo our enemies that we can see today are here:

But I do believe the soldiers we can't see will be the balance tippers.
Hackers
Sleeper cells
(of murdering terrorists and actual organized military, primarily of Chinese origin)

What do they say about winning battle/war winners?    Tactics versus logistics?

Thanks for your feedback Johny Mac, Griz, Felix...

The boys over at survival dispatch also report about cyber attacks, China, Cartels, infiltration, our Southern border, the effects of drugs, crime, and the impact of large numbers of illegals, some buying land and forming their own "militias."   The picture they paint reveals a far more dangerous situation than the potential effects caused by our home grown democratic socialist party terrorists; sleeper cells in the waiting.   I don't know if the trigger will be from an event or a word, but when that trigger is pulled, there is going to be mass murder all around the country and possibly the world.

One of the other things I put too much thought into is World War 3. I think it's fair to say that when people think of war they think of conventional war. Look back at World War 2 or the Vietnam. I think these 2 wars, not to mention the past 20+ years, are still so heavily ingrained in peoples mind as to what war is.  Only a very small percentage of people understand that technology has brought different platforms to the war front. And it's these different platforms that we are at war with right now; and have been for years.   Cyber attacks and or anything that affects the power grid, supply chain and services is the new "Front."   I kind of feel like I'm preaching to the choir here, but we are about ready to see some major shiznitz go down.

Prep away my friends.

Radio / Re: MFJ is Closing!

Whenever I hear or see MFJ I remember its early days when the products were, shall we say, questionable. Over the years they improved greatly and absorbed some quality companies. Back in the day we used to call MFJ, Mississippi's Finest Junk. It's sad whenever any of the Ham radio equipment companies close their doors. The only one left in Virginia is Ham Radio Outlet in Woodbridge, Va. There used to be a Kenwood store in Virginia Beach but it's long gone.

I thought the Feds passed a law radios had to still be able to receive an AM station.  Is this doing something with that?

Nemo

Not at all, Nemo.  MFJ is a company that manufactures amateur radio accessories, radios, amplifiers, and antennas.  It was started by Martin Jue back in the 1970's, if I remember correctly.  They also purchased many other brands and absorbed them into MFJ, over the decades.  I can understand Mr. Jue's need to retire, but the loss of all of these companies and their associated products would have a major impact on amateur radio operators.  We're talking literally hundreds, if not thousands, of different products.  Just thinking about my equipment, I probably have at least 20 different MFJ products in my station.  Hopefully, they'll sell off the different brands that make up the company.

One advantage I think "we" have is the "quality" of the disloyal opposition.   "We" have the tools and know-how to make a lot more of them die for their country (whatever "country" they imagine) than they can ever make us die for.
In fact, their heretofore cushy existence will spell the actual end of their existence when the cushy parts suddenly fall away.
And if I have my history down correctly, making more of them die than they can kill of us is usually attached to victory versus defeat.
Our current crop of Traitors-In-Charge may find that in the extremis, their "useful idiots" aren't really gonna prove all that useful in the end.
We are only now, in the irritating "preludes" of all-out civil mayhem.
When order really collapses (locally, regional, nationally) then it's "game on".   It gets "real", and we shall see what we shall see.

We are headed to a restricted civil war. Restricted to area's of the county. Probably more blue urban area's vs. red rural. It is inevitable as we see Socialists and Marxists gain more and more control, especially with our young useful idiots. We hear daily now, "death to America". Sometimes you get what you wish for.

THEY get what THEY wish for! The rest of us will need to fight to protect what we already have such as the Constitution and Bill of Rights and any sort of freedom
