What would he have wanted Ron Paul to do?  Be as corrupt as the Establishment Republicans and break rules and create new ones on the fly?  That's not Ron Paul.  I'm not saying he's wrong, he may have very well been controlled opposition, but I'm sure RP, wouldn't have stupped to the level of the corrupt Republicans that broke rules and created new ones on the fly as they pleased to get the results they wanted.

I will say that Ron Paul is a fool for being in the Republican corrupt disgusting party.  I wouldn't pee on them if they were on fire.  They spit out anyone who doesn't toe the party line, which is more Authoritarianis, more Corporatism, and more Socialism.  Ron Paul doesn't toe that line, so they spit him out.  Screw the party, screw all the corrupt establishment underlings that followed orders to break rules and create new ones to make sure Ron Paul delegates didn't have a voice.

RP knows which side his bread is buttered on. He's had a nice cushy Senate job and benefits on the basis of being an outsider, if he ever really was, I'm beginning to think not. I'm not surprised by the acquiescence of RP, but to leave his die-hard supporters with their asses hanging out in the wind is truly despicable. Don't get me started on his son, Rand.
