Rand Paul to Lead Class-Action Lawsuit Against Obama over NSA Spying

Sen. Paul will be discussing the lawsuit in an exclusive appearance on Fox News with host Eric Bolling at 10 PM ET on Friday. Breitbart News has learned that Paul will file the class action lawsuit soon in the D.C. District Court and that he will be filing it as an individual, not as a U.S. Senator. For a U.S. Senator to file a such a class action lawsuit against the President of the United States would be extremely rare.

This lawsuit allows the American people to join together in a grassroots manner against President Obama’s NSA with a sitting U.S. Senator at the helm. Two prior class action lawsuits were filed in June. Classes have not yet been certified in those cases.

The focus of the lawsuit will be how the NSA's actions violate the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution. The lawsuit will target the NSA’s metadata program.

I hate having to agree with that guy, but it's an interesting push back against the unconstitutional searching being done by the NSA.

Even though Rand Paul is a complete tool I agree with him on this lawsuit maybe just maybe it might give a leg up into letting Obummer know that his style of bullshit is no longer being accepted.

You know sixteen years ago then President Clinton was impeached for lying under oath to a grand jury about an affair. Yet James Clapper, Director of the NSA does not get indited for lying under oath to Congress about violating 4th Amendment.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Wednesday said that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has been as harmful to American intelligence gather capabilities as leaker Edward Snowden.

“That Clapper is lying to Congress is probably more injurious to our intelligent capabilities than anything Snowden did,” Paul told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “Clapper has damaged the credibility of the entire intelligence apparatus and I’m not sure what to believe anymore when they come to Congress.”

The Executive Branch of our government has been caught in so many lies and openly doing illegal things it is mind boggling. Whether you think Sen.'s Paul or Cruz are people who crave the spot light or not, at least they are trying to fight back - Nobody else appears to be doing so.
