It may sound bad but at least they are killing each other for a change.
Maybe the drug war will get a few days off.

Fired Cop Praised Obama, Piers Morgan & Gun Control, Ripped NRA in Portions of Supposed Manifesto Redacted at LAPD?s Request

its interesting how he praised all the big government progressives in his manifesto...it seems the "snow ball" is rolling faster and faster towards the village.

Here are my thoughts on the topic:

It is too soon to tell what is really going on with this man.  I can very easily imagine that he had devoted his life to being a LEO.  And maybe whatever got him canned was his fault or maybe it was the typical BS office politics that is EXTREMELY apparent in many agencies now days, ESPECIALLY ones as large as LA.

Did he try other avenues to pursue furthering his LE career like going to a different department?  Maybe he had and was turned down because of what he had been fired for.  If that is the and he is looking at his dream being smashed I can imagine how upset he would be.  Does this justify MURDER, no.  I can think of a million ways to ruin the life of someone without taking theirs.  And we all no the current kind of justice system we have today, especially in places like Cali.  So who knows.

Is this guy crazy?  Maybe.  Or maybe he is simply "jumping the gun" and go about it the wrong way.  Of course we are seeing the heavy handed and wild response of the PD to this threat.  With officers randomly shooting up vehicles that just HAPPEN TO LOOK like his.  His best bet is to lay very low for a while and just let fear and the consequences that will follow take shape.

And naturally, the guy is a VET so I see the MSM hammering that like a crazed addict with an 8 ball. [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

Just a thought.

There are a lot of people angry with the police, justifiably or not, for past run ins they or their family were involved in.  If copy cats start popping up around the country what do you think would happen next?  "To protect our police, to protect innocent civilians who drive cars resembling the cop killers, we are now forced to enact Executive Orders ............"

Without commenting on moral or personal thoughts I'd like to point out the effect one individual has had on the l.a. pd alone. Think about those numbers of officers as well as supporting agencies, the man hours being dedicated and security details for the mandarins (couldn't help myself there), consider the trigger happy incidents that have already happened to innocents that happened to have a similar vehicle or description.
One guy. One , let that sink in.
What happens when piles of people start losing it? What happens when others with a little more restraint but the same madness see the opportunity in chaos? What happens when long held grudges held in check by fear of legal consequence see an opportunity? What will happen when the free shit army sees an opening for upgrading their flatscreen or grabbing some goodies? What happens when the flow of ssri drugs is interrupted?

Now think about this in a country with more civilian owned weapons than the chinese army. Executive orders won't mean shit.
Can't help but think of an old members line "got tribe?"

This is the worst shooting incident in LAPD history since the North Hollywood robbery back in the 90s. Unlike Phillips and Motesorano, THIS guy is a trained professional with a mission far beyond petty cash. The LAPD has had access to military surplus M-16s since the 90s, but never a nemesis. From what I've read, they're in full-blown panic mode. I'm thinking this could be as huge as John Brown's Raid.

John Brown's raid you say Crystal. Man O' man that's some heavy stuff. No seriously...Look it up gals and gents.

My wife is finishing the first Bracken book Enemies: Foreign and Domestic; Which we had to sign away our first born to get from the local library. No seriously!

My wife and I had a pretty heavy discussion at dinner this evening of what is coming. It was not a pleasant conversation.

I am the tin foil tricorned hat of the family BUT the stuff she was coming up with made me look like I only had a tin foiled beanie on.

Apparently she had suppressed her fears of our present government and what the future holds. She is the most level headed gal I have ever known; however this evening she is really scared of what is coming down the pike. I even put on some Cowboy junkies which usually helps her mello out... Nope, she is back at that damn book!

I see more money spent: Bullets, beans and band-aides when she is done  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

I know what you're saying JM.  Women are definitely getting serious about stocking up.  In the past three weeks my GF has stocked water purification, food, medicine, purchased 2 mini 14's and a mini 30, bought 3000 rounds of 7.62x39, 4,000 rounds of .223 (and she was quite pleased to pay .70 a round), and through a fit of disgust because she missed an auction for 1,000 rounds .380 before it closed.  Thank God she has her own money.  She's also got 3 realtors looking for property close to mine in northern Arkansas.  She thinks my 5 acre tract isn't big enough for the plans she has.

Seven months ago she only owned an 870 that she had never fired.  I'd say she has come a long way.

Oh, sorry for misdirecting the topic.

Here's something even more important to consider. This guy has reintroduced the idea of violently resisting against a tyrannical government to the mainstream. Until now, the only thing people have seen are guys talking about it. Now they're seeing it in action. Justified or not, Dorner's message will have tremendous repercussions.

Next time that I'm up that way we'll see about meeting up RS.  It'll probably be this summer unless she finds some property that she likes before hand.  She's put a lot of requirements on the realtors because she wants to get into hydroponics and raise horses.  She's about convinced me that the days of the horseless carriage are numbered.

It only seems that way to us CrystalHunter, to the rest of the world this guys is a post service PTSD wack job.

Watch the language gentlemen, every man who hurts someone with a gun is now a 'gun man,' every cop is a 'hero' and Rational Citizens are getting all kinds of bad raps thrown at them.

CH it is going to be very interesting to see if this spark he is lighting catches into a blaze.  I think that will depend on how long he evades execution.  If he becomes some kind of legend to the urban riffraff this could get very nasty in a short amount of time.  If they get him quickly its a warning to anyone, group or class of people who holds a grudge against the police or authority.

I'm thinking that there are people in high places chomping at the bit to not let a good crises go to waste.

they act like the public is an enemy who is also conducting ops against them. they treat you like a threat right off the bat. shit pisses me off. and then something like this happens, they going around doing this BS no one calls them on it. if they had opened fire on me, i would have tried my hardest to get out and return fire.

not only that the fact they run full fucking combat loads and ride in APCs pisses me the fuck off!! they go into there 'no knock' raids or the rare 'active shooter' or chase for some gang banging bank robbers like they are going toe to toe with a squad sized element of professional military. when in reality if they needed all that gear they pack they wouldnt go near the threat. from what ive seen of CA cops (on the news, live feeds, or in person) a group of 4 or 5 guys who somewhat know what they are doing would hand them there ass on a silver platter..not to mention a few guys who KNOW what they are doing...
