hard to say bro. there's a lot of tin-foil explanations (which I can't completely discount or laugh-off), and there's also a bunch of more widely accepted reasons. I think it's most likely a concoction of different things that all converge to fuck those people over.

yeah in africa anyone with Diahrrea or a common cold instantly is diagnosed with Aids and they start them on meds that some say makes them infertal and god knows what else.

Gospel.  When I went to Africa I had to get some many extra shots (above and beyond the shit the DoD normally makes you get) it wasn't funny.  Our medic told me that they handed out antibiotics in the countries that were getting US aid like candy for decades so a lot of the nastier shit is pretty much resistant to treatment.  The last time I was there they were cleaning up after an outbreak of Plague.
