I think anonymous is mostly a good thing for liberty. We should just be wary that their power and control doesn't get too out of hand. The Internet is one of the last truly free places and anonymous firmly stands in the way of those who would regulate it.

agree 100%. i've heard ppl attack them for being "armchair activists" of "keyboard activists"... saying they're lazy or whatever. I say BS on that. IMHO, an "armchair activist" would be someone who posts bullshit on facebook all day but doesn't actually do anything. Anon may do their deeds from the safety of their computers, but they actually get shit done. I think all the Scientology stuff back in their beginning was hilarious, and awesome, but petty. now that their focus is away from religious scams and directed at the wannabe tyrants in DC, i'm all for them. ever notice that they don't ever really attack anyone or any group that isn't a total shitbag? they don't have a history of attacking ppl just for the hell of it. they do it to ppl like Westboro Baptist, Scientology, .gov, etc..

I just read a little blurb in an article that tickles me.  The article below says that the group used Java to exploit the DOJ website.  Now, isn't that interesting that the DOJ did not heed warnings from the DHS to uninstall Java.  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

This article makes me want to party with Anonymous.  Have any of you played the game "Asteroids" lately?, the US Department of Justice has  :))
