I've only gotten through the first episode, but this series looks promising. I can't believe I'd never heard of it before. (and to give credit where credit is due, I got this from Alvie over at the Cliffs of Insanity blog)

I'm just now starting episode 7 (I told you I'd have plenty of time to watch  :)) ) and WOW! I honestly wasn't expecting much from an 80's era made-for-TV series but this is damn good! I almost shed a man tear once or twice but held it back because the lady was in the room, lol.

you guys really need to check this show out.

I remember when this came out - man it was strong stuff back then.  I need to pickup a copy of it (bandwidth caps) so I have it on hand.

I watched this entire series from start to finish a couple years ago. it's well worth your time, that's for damn sure. it actually gets better and better as it progresses.
