The Guerrillas Guide To Signals Intelligence
« on: December 13, 2023, 12:24:50 PM »
I received this email from NC Scout.

Quote
Had a ton of emails asking when the new book, The Guerrilla's Guide to Signals Intelligence, would be up on the store. I appreciate both the anticipation and the patience, it really means a lot to have a second book now that immediately shot to a #1 bestseller. As some of you know, I get my author's copies last after the book gets published in print, and even though that's a bit frustrating it is what it is. We've got it now in stock and its ready to ship.

The Guerrilla's Guide To Signals Intelligence

As always shipping is same day if you order before noon during the week and we strive to get you your gear as fast as possible. I've got a ton of new products waiting to be unveiled before Christmas as well.

Take care Johny

Scout

Just a side note, the last book Scout released sold out in its first printing.

Hay, Good For Him!  Great to see success happening with his book.  I ordered a paper and the Kindle version.  Old eyes perfer the Kindle, but paper lasts a looooong time, and no back doors ina  paper book.

I think this should be the cover picture, but it's maybe just my tastes.

I've been reading it over the past week.  It's pretty good, with enough information to assist you in implementing the techniques in real world situations.  It also confirms the need to minimize your RF footprint.  I've been trying to emphasize that not everyone needs a radio in every situation, but a militia alumni thinks the opposite.  I'm going to be avoiding that dude when the SHTF, because he's a trouble magnet.

Anyways, NCScout's book is well written and very helpful to those of us that deal with comms.

Yes, on the modern battlefield, chronic emitters will be dealt with the old Raytheon Way : Emission Seeking Missiles.

I'm an absolute freak when it comes to Radio Coms in a SHTF situation. Now with that said, I'm also an absolute nut case when it comes to brevity. I think the Military has the right idea about battlefield communications. Don't get long winded when passing information and if someone starts to chit chat, you reach over and slap the crap out them. :chuky: I also love the military's grid map system of identifying things. Only someone with a duplicate map would know where a coordinate was located. Even we Hams have a grid system. I'm at FM16hx. That location means absolutely nothing to a non-Ham. We Hams don't even have to create grid maps. We can define any location, anywhere by just using the Ham Grid Square Map.
