Great reading and the comment section is even more fun. Not sure I fit any of the six types mentioned, which is probably a good thing in the long run. Though I have run into enough preppers that fit all six of the types mentioned. Thanks for sharing that Reaver!

Lol, I'm #3.
You calling yourself a #3 makes you a #5 for sure!  :))

(whispering) Pssst Reaver, if you really are a #3 you shouldn't tell people.  No one will be your friend, and then who the hell will you have over as dinner?

I couldn't help myself JM!  Unfortunately I missed the golden years of MrL&L, but TG briefed me on the things I'm not supposed to bring up on SP...  I think I've managed to hit two or three of those forbidden points so far  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

Speaking of which, I hear 1911 pistols are real gems, awesome mag capacity!  I think I'll buy one... and a box of hollowpoints to go with it!  ;)

Im a #4, Not just in prepping but in anything i do. I go full throttle and give it all my attention. Knowing this about myself what i do is i shift my obsession around. For example the race car project im doing now, or freediving like i was doing in the summer. I have totally abandoned prepping in my attention but the knowledge and mindset remains. After a while i will return and go full throttle in prepping again. I still have my preps, they arent going anywhere. And i still keep up on my shooting etc.

While I was typing that post I asked TG what some other topics were that had riled you all up on MrL&L, he suggested that 1911s are always good source of contention and gave me the low down on the sticking points i.e.,small mag capacity and not hollow-points friendly- you learn something knew each day.  I thought I'd poke the dragon...  I'm definitely a #5  :))

You seem to be pretty good at poking the dragon.....

Ben. Would you agree?
