Department of Homeland Security Plans Shocking New Ad

Representative Peter King, chairman of the Department of Homeland Security committee, spoke about the new shocking ad campaign planned to be unleashed nationwide by the DHS. "I don't think Americans quite understand the danger, or the fear they should be experiencing," he told reporters. "It's big stuff. You can't trust anyone. Report suspicious activity everywhere. Even if it's your neighbor or your grandma. Anybody can be a terrorist."

"We're trying to get people in the proper mindset when it comes to terrorism, and we're trying to keep them there."

Ok, (Palm to forehead  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at) I am looking into my crystal ball and I see that the terrorists in this c lips will be:

> White
> Between 30 - 45 in age
> Wear camo's all the time
> Drink beer, Oh and
> Have a years worth of food in their basements.

Thats some quality fear mongering. And to keep us all safe from the bad terorists. the gov will be taking all the guns so the taliban cant take them and use em on defencless Mericans.  C:-)

hey guys this is getting crazy... were so screwed.. eventually anyone with a gun will be jailed if they refuse to give it up... one step at a time.... the SHIT isnt going to SLAM into the fan...they will hand feed the shit slowly so its just a little bit splattering at a time... people will wipe there face and say thats not so bad.... eventually they will make there rounds to pick up all guns....95% of americans will comply.... the other 5% shot dead or jailed.

this is my latest theory

Yeah, a big part of me agrees with Ken. The last the NRA called asking for money and to tell me about current legislation I asked a simple question. "And what happens if bills like the small arms UN treaty passes?" There was a long pause and then a very uncomfortable, "Well sir we follow the law."  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at They start that I'm out. On the other hand I'd hope that Americans would finally see a clear violation of their constitutional rights and well, you can imagine the rest.

I suggest you all buy and read "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" as our friend APX posted in another thread. it's a fictional novel but I've never read something that was so dead-on. also, the author has a long military history and was a SEAL. the whole book is riddled with awesome tips for opsec, escape and evasion, insight into the tactics used by many of the alphabet-soup agencies and SF. it's basically a version of Patriots that's actually realistic.

I find this relevant because the book mirrors the reality of our current situation, and it'll only take one seemingly small catastrophe to start the engine of rapid and OVERT loss of liberty (as opposed to this gradual "boiling frog" thing that we're so used to).

Yup. I am on chapter 21. Also, if you haven't read Unintended Consequences you need too. The first 2/3's of the book is slow but the last 1/3 is ROCKEN.

For you history buffs, the first 2/3's is a great read. If you can't find it drop me a PM and I will forward to you in PDF format.
