Neat trick

 I was watching a documentary on the life of mobster Joe Gallo. At one point he had to go into hiding, It's called go to the mattresses.
 They used one unique method of protecting from a bomb or hand grenade from being thrown through the windows.
 They hung chicken wire, you could see through it and even shoot through it.
 Yes I know about the window film but this is cheep and quick in a fast moving emergency.

That is a good idea. Would take a number of Chicken Wire rolls for my house. Lots of windows, but doable if or when the need might come.
Chicken Wire does have a number of good utility uses.
