When places like Cheaper Than Dirt had .556 shells for $15 a 5 gallon bucket full.
Mostly Berdan Primers - cheap Czechoslovakia and Chinese ammo - people either hoarded it or shot it thinking that there would be an endless supply.
When the supply dried up and the price of ammo went from $1 a box to $25 a box, a lot of people quit shooting their .223 rifles.
I don't like those cheap BB guns.
Most of my stuff is either 10 gauge, 12 gauge or .27 / .30 caliber.
With my health, my days of buying guns or ammo is coming to an end!
