If this comment is off topic I apologize in advance.

I am not pro or anti Assad / pro or anti the rebels. With that said, why don't the rebels use proper long rifle shooting stance, e.g. place gun butt firmly against shoulder, aim, breath and then pull the trigger. My impression is they just blast away in the direction of their foe.

Having watched tons of footage of conflicts throughout the Middle East including conflicts in Lebanon I have come to the conclusion that unless they are Israeli, there is a 99% chance they are illiterate and so such concepts never enter their mind.

I was the same way when I was 7 and fired a bb gun for the first time. Anyways I hope that way of thinking is applied by any foes I encounter when TSHTF. Living in Los Angeles it most certainly will.

Check this shit up, a guy drops a grenade inside a tank's barrel and in the second try he blows up the tank

that last vid was confusing.
Were the crew hold up in there or something?

No fire from the tank, no maneuvering, no swinging of the turret?
Why destroy a captured tank? There are many other videos of FSA using captured tanks.

Yeah, it is very odd. Makes for great propaganda though.

It looks like an abandoned tank, otherwise the crew would had done something about that guy.

Anyway, the lesson there is that with some grenades you can fuck up a tank

Yeah, but he needed two tries. In any standard situation, he'd never gotten within 50 feet of the tank.

tank only blew because the breech was open on the turret gun and the grenade rolled all the way down the barrel into the tank itself
