What a epic fail. http://networkedblogs.com/sOa3T (http://networkedblogs.com/sOa3T)

Beyond epic fail... [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

You could use Hornady's Leverevolution ammo to get a flatter trajectory. If this sells well I would hope they would put out a 35 Rem caliber.
-
If they made it in .44spl or .45acp** and it had a threaded barrel (cough) I could think of a use for it.
**Is chambering a tube magazine lever action for a non-rimmed cartridge possible? I vaguely recall having seen a .223 tube mag lever action before.
-
I'm not seeing Epic fail.
and I'm really starting to disregard most of the comments I see here on SP
-
This would have to be in the 300 or less range in order for it to be worth it. I dont see anything that an AK doesn't already do, unless of course you are just into lever guns. I do know afew guys that prefer them to.more.modern fire arms. But still most of them are puriests and prefer wood to plastic
-
I'm not see the epic fail either. I'd like to have a lever gun put away. I don't really go for all the tacticool for any of my weapons. KISS. But there are a lot of guys who do go for tacticool so I don't see anything wrong with them adding it to a lever action.
-
Many states do not allow semi auto fire for big game hunting- PA being one of them.
If a person had limited funds but wanted to buy a rifle that met more then one need well rock-on. This weapon would do it.
Keep in mind you can not use POINTIE ammo in a tubular magizine as the recoil may set off the cartridge in front.
Hey, it ain't for me but it may meet some folks needs.
-
Its not the fact that it is a lever gun, Its the fact that it has all of that shit on it.
-
The adjustable rear stock ruined it... put a solid butt on it and they might have something.
-
If it had plain wood, It would cool.
-
Those old model 94s had an adjustable rear stock.. you could cut off all you wanted with a handsaw!
Am I the only one who is notice that manufactures are starting to just pile a bunch of rails and polymer on shit hoping that it sells?
-
:o Ok, first impression is that looks pretty damn stupid. Second, I got to say I can kind of like the adjustable stock, the grip, but I'd lose the rail system. If it sold for no more than a solid $300 I'd consider it in .22. On the other hand, maybe I'll just by a .22 Henry and duracoat that sob and spend no more than $200.
-
If the price is right, I might consider it. Honestly, how many of us AK 'purists' got upset when we started seeing Tapco stocks on those rifles? Think of it this way: you don't have to worry about ruining that nice wood while trekking through the bush or changes in air temperature and moisture content.
No, it doesn't look good, but there is an appeal in my mind to the 'utility' aspect. People who contemplate using their M1 Garands or M1A rifles have considered alternate stocks because we like the wood so much.
I have to agree with White Wolf on the rail system: not necessary, except the top one for optics. Plenty of US soldiers in the Old West did just fine without a fore grip or other gadgets.

Make on of those guns in 7.62x39 and i'll buy it. :))
I know, im going to tacticool hell. lol
-
Now all it needs is a M203 launcher hanging off the bottom rail! [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

RS,
tubular magizines and 7.62X39 will not work. When you combine pointed bullets in line and add recoil their could be an accidental discharge.
-
You know I like new and old school guns but as for lever actions I prefer wood and that synthetic piece o shit no thank you >:(

I knew someone would say that.
7.62x39 SP does exist, and it is cheap and available.
-
Huhhhh?
-
What I wanna know is what in the hell is wrong with this?

Didn't know you needed to fuck with perfection.

Hello all
While I'm not in favor of all the crap they put on this one, a Lever gun still has it's place and use in many situations! I know of some places as a few have stated where ya can't have Military Styles of weapons and Lever guns offer an alternative, But in my View I'd not live there long enough anyhow? I know many sourth states Law Enforcent still use Lever actions and they perforn quite well? I'd ask a Texas Ranger if you disagree, they seem to be on top of thier game and have use the lever action for decades? Not sure if still as wide spread use now but was at one time? Lever guns still have a place but not if covered in bullshit like this one? Some folks stick a scope on an AK as well, Not me?? LOL
-
Agree with TG and the others. The rails on it are just stupid, I could see the adjustable stock if that was really an issue but really it can be fixed on a wood stock with a large dose of MAN THE FUCK UP. lol
-
hang the son of a bitch who did that to a levergun [img]http://www.smileydesign.n
-
lol whatever, it's just another gun. Do whatever you want to it/with it.
I don't see why people are so sensitive :))
Then again this is coming from a guy who won't blink at a sporterized Mosins and Mausers. (yes even my beloved mausers >:D)
