Its the best pistol I've ever fired so far, I loved the trigger on it.  Yes, its better than my P229 I hate to say....

Will be replacing the G19 with a M&PC very soon. Ergonomics baby!

Prefer my Ruger sr9. Not saying it's a bad gun. It's just one that when I pick it up I innately think "ugh." Doesn't feel right my hands. Then again I don't like wearing all blue, eating donuts, and pulling people over without a damn good reason either.  :))

From Wiki, "The M&P is a direct evolution of the unsuccessful Smith & Wesson Sigma design, however it does not share parts compatibility with the Sigma. The M&P design has an improved trigger, "

They had better improved the shit out of that trigger because the Sigma's was junk!

sure all striker fired handguns resemble a glock, its the same mechanical workings so the only real difference is the feel and look

i look at an M&P as an improved version of the glock

Right call on the Sigma - that thing wasn't even a decent paperweight.  What a disaster and a jam-o-matic!  I called it the Smegma.

Ken's original post played off of mine by noting that the M&P is a improved copy of the Sigma which is a straight rip off of a Glock so in essence a M&P is a copy of a copy.

I don't see why you wouldn't just go with the original.

i went with the m&p over the glock for one reason, i was the only guy in my entire group who liked the way the glock felt, everyone else preferred the M&P and hated the glock

so what the hell i armed everyone with m&p's and i haven't looked back since
its basically the same thing just different ergos......

Buy it, you'll love it.  I got to shoot about 300 rounds through on a while back, it was the full sized .40, and wow, I loved it!
