Relatively new, our government has a link now called https://www.ready.gov/

Interesting... What is our government preparing us for?

I seem to recall ready.gov was involved with the CERT program, back in the early 2000's.  Being a little cynical, I think ready.gov is a means of .gov covering its behind, because FEMA won't function like its intended.  Think Hurricane Katrina on a larger scale...
