My Mindset about what's coming.
« on: December 12, 2022, 09:49:14 PM »
I'm probably one of the most easy going people on the planet. I don't know what it is but once people meet me, even briefly, they seem to remember me even after years have passed. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing because if I was a robber, I wouldn't last 1 day before I would be identified. I met a guy at a business meeting that only lasted about 15 minutes and 5 years later, one of the people at the meeting happened to be in our Central office and as I passed him in the hallway, he said, ""Hey PK". I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I stopped him and asked how he knew who I was. The guy said that I attended a meeting in Appomatox, Va. and he was in that meeting. Well, that reminded me as to who he was and I said, "Oh yes, I remember that meeting." Now that I've babbled all that BS and have gotten it out of the way, I'll get to what I wanted to say. I have been trying to get people ready for the crash that is coming and all the misery that people will have to endure but they just let it go in one ear and out the other. Somewhere deep down inside me there must be a little bit of a mean streak that I guess I suppress because I pray that the Lord lets me live long enough to see the collapse just so I can watch what all those people that I warned will do. No, I won't be one of those "I told you so" people. I just want to see how they cope with the massive disaster of our civilization. So far, every day when I get up, the world seems to be a tiny bit worse than when I went to sleep the night before. Whatever is going to happen has to be right around the corner. Its almost like knowing that there is going to be a trainwreck and I feel that I want to be there to see it when it happens. Does anybody else have similar feelings or ideas about what's coming?

Oh yeah PK. I dont know about the timing, because somehow or another it seems people's pure ambivalence to the trainwreck seems to hold it at bay; but I can't help but think I'll live to see it and wish I hadn't.

Yes gentlemen.

Just remember the darkest part of this winter will be 2025. However, leading up to it, 2023 and 2024, is where all the action will be.

Stay tuned...

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

When people recognize me and say "hi Grizz", I toss them to the ground and demand they explain their knowledge of me and what agency they work for  :lmfao: :lmfao:

Actually I've been getting that from people all my life and I just roll with it. I figure if they took the time to say hi, they had good memories of me  ;D

I can give a few examples of people including myself on how we feel about what's coming...for me I lost my gig doing IT work for not getting stuck, so I've been living off retirement funds (and I'm not retired- not much choice)- so if people show up at my house, I have been living off my preps for about 2 years...  Sorry. nothing I can help with here. waiting and watching, I'm pushing to sell stuff online, and once warm weather breaks, line up mowing jobs for lawn service work around NEPA.
and nothing too far from home, and if I hear anything big dropping I'm rolling to pick up my son and bunker down. I've given the next two guys some baofeng radios -and some basic ideas on use...I would support them, as one is close the other is so far away if things break he won't likely make it to my house. Still supporting even so.

deleted the first guy, probably don't want to say too much here.

another guy I know...says just don't show up at my house when things break down- you won't leave. like hotel california...or roach motel. and I doubt he's playing. he's retired. Good guy, good shot.

I know another guy -who said if it's bad I'm coming to your house...well, we aren't friends anymore.

another buddy - we talk often said well YOU should keep an extra bag of rice for people like him, since he has good ideas...I was like, if I have an extra bag of rice it's going to keep my kid fed. your ideas better grow lots of plant food, and find calories or they aren't good ideas and I can't afford to feed everyone else.

the more I ponder this stuff, and knowing the conclusion is another great depression coming. ...the more I think about the "ants and the grasshoppers" fable from ASOP....and I'll just say it, in the end the ants eat those grasshoppers.

120 million to 150 million died of starvation during the great depression (depends on source), and FDR rolled out socialism, to help feed people when under the hood government prolonged the problems. the big difference between today and 1930 is everyone back in 1930 knew how to farm, produce their own food, hunt and fish.
in the back of my mind I'm also thinking about 2020 and the summer of love, pfft - all those people who were lied to get those poison shots might wake up to the fact they have been lied to, and actually riot and want heads...not my head...but all those policial heads who poisoned them...its very probable they will burn everything down, destroy power stations, wreck rail systems, block roads..but if they don't wake up to being poisoned, they will be gone in around 2 years from what I've read.

I think the big take away will be knowledge is power- 50% of all green plants is food (according to Lynda Runion - created edible wild plants DVD/ card deck for US ARMY)...having an idea of what is food will help everyone who is starving.
