would it be possible to pick up a veper and swap out the wood with modern psl furniture?

I doubt it, I'm not experienced with ak's but I don't think those parts will match.
Your gonna want to ask that question at the ak files they might be able to help.

I'm guessing you have a PSL
Do what I did, and just pick up the Carbon Fiber. It's lighter & stronger.
Looks pretty Bad A as well.

im looking to pick one up i was just thinking the veper looked a lot beefier but i came across an article about a company that will tack a psl and "clean it up" for you to get the best out of the gun when i pick a psl up, if tax returns are good im sending mine out to them http://www.rifledynamics.com/services/gsr.php (http://www.rifledynamics.com/services/gsr.php)

and i have seen the polymer psl stock and your right it looks really cool i have to put that on my rifle

I confess...I did it, too.
I wish they worked on M14-style rifles. They only seem to work on AKs, ARs, FALs, and MAC10s, though. Pity.

i dont care how long it takes me to save up for a good optic i have to get this. not too many psls on gun broker though and i dont really trust my local gun store when they put together parts kits but part of what RD dose i "clean" the gun up
and have to do the same when i get a nicer AK travis haley has been running a RD AK, it looks nice
