There will be blood
« on: April 18, 2017, 05:44:38 PM »
The ANTIFirstAmendment  group (ANTIFA) is thinking of getting not only a mob leader but military training and maybe even guns.

this-is-war

Last week Trump supporters and leftist social justice warriors met on the political field of battle in Berkeley, California. Words were exchanged, as were punches. And while an alt-right leader was punched in the face, by all accounts even the social justice warriors admit that they got a major beat-down.

This prompted a reddit discussion among the left’s tolerant resistance movement, with many asking how they can more effectively go to war against anyone who disagrees with their social, political, and economic views.

The anti-Trump protesters at the rally were ill-prepared for what they came to Berkeley to confront and now they are trying to figure out ways to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

In short, as predicted, they are turning to militancy and mob action by mobilizing individuals and groups to attend combat training seminars, acquiring better equipment like baseball bats and helmets, and of course, if things really go bad… guns.

Yes, we seemed to have lost today. The alt-right held their ground. If we wanna take action against them, we need to be better organized and better trained. It doesn’t help that it’s only the far left opposing them, any trump supporter can be radicalized far easier than any liberal.
I hope we learn from today
    …

A shocking number of our comrades went in there with absolute no combat training. We need to set up seminars or something of the sort.

    …

We also need better equipment, I know the bandanna and hoodie look is our trade mark, but I saw the right wearing motorcycle helmets, and baseball helmets. A dude wearing a helmet is going to keep going if he get punched, our guys are going down.

And though they are, always have been and always will be “tolerant” and “peaceful protesters,” many are now discussing arming themselves so they can go head to head with the “fascist” and “racist” alt-right.

I honestly think we need a campaign to get more antifa armed. It seems that seems to be the biggest problem with our resistance. They’re mostly armed, why aren’t we?

    …

Not getting disarmed is a big part of the problem, yes, but we need more than flags and bats. We need to take notes from the John Brown Gun Club and get firearms and training. I know getting firearms in states and cities we have a presence in is usually a hassle, but even handguns would help. It would certainly put a psychological element in while holding fash back. Who do you think a fascist is more afraid of? People with only flags and bats, or people with flags, bats, and guns?
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

They can bring it.
Worst case, once action and reaction and counter action have multiplied time and again it will bring down the grid.

This will starve the population resources of our enemies more than ours.

Much suffering for all but in the end Net win: Us.

If you plan to go to Atlanta, be ready.  Carry.  I am game to go, have transportation and very likely a living room floor to spread a pad and blanket on.  I have 2 pads, so bring your own blanket and toothbrush.  Its 7 hours from me so we could do the drive from here no problem.  My zip code-- 24550.   Anyone want to try to work it out.

Bloomberg anti-gun groups eye disrupting NRA convention
by Paul Bedard | Apr 17, 2017

President Trump's decision to be the first president in three decades to speak at the annual National Rifle Association convention is drawing heat from two anti-gun groups that now plan to travel to Atlanta to disrupt the massive event.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and Everytown for Gun Safety — funded by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg — on Monday decried Trump's plans and warned:

"Our volunteers will be in Atlanta during the NRA's annual meeting, just as we have been showing up at town halls and in statehouses across the country to stand up for the safety of our families and communities. We will not be silenced."

The 146th Annual NRA convention will be held April 27-30. It is a combined trade show and public affairs convention where supporters of the Second Amendment typically speak. Last year, for example, several GOP presidential candidates including Trump spoke.

During the campaign, Trump won the NRA's endorsement. The NRA also spent heavily to fight Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton and anti-gun Democrats.

As a result of Trump's election, Moms, which is part of Everytown, charged in a statement that Trump was paying the NRA back with his speech and pro-gun agenda.

"Make no mistake: The gun lobby is already working to cash in on its investment," said their statement. "Degrading our nation's laws is a dream for NRA lobbyists and a nightmare for public safety," it added.

I have never been to a NRA convention or Shot-Show so these questions and comments may be off the mark.

1) If you are legal, can you carry conceal carry to these events?
2) If you are allowed to CC to this event, will everybody be disarmed the night that Mr. Trump speaks?
3) If the answer in "NO" there will be a target rich environment for handguns left back at the hotel.
4) If the answer to "2" is yes, I fear for Trump. Not that a NRA member would do anything but what a great cover for a
    malcontent group.
5) Legally, be careful what you write concerning attending the convention packing heat and can't wait to confront the
    protesters. That would show premeditation.

Thoughts?

Johny

I cant speak for the NRA convention as I have never been.  I attend SHOT every year and there is no CC while in the show, though because it is concealed and there are no metal detectors there are plenty of people carrying. The hang up is that in Vegas itself very few out of state permits are acknowledged.

I have never been to a NRA convention or Shot-Show so these questions and comments may be off the mark.

1) If you are legal, can you carry conceal carry to these events?

Yes, there are a few areas, CNN Building and such right there where carry is prohibited.  Otherwise carry is fine as long as comply with state law.  State law requries permit but recognizes near any other state, with no difference between deep cover and complete open.  While I lived in Ga I routinely went sloppy loose cover.

2) If you are allowed to CC to this event, will everybody be disarmed the night that Mr. Trump speaks?

NO carry in the hall Trump will be in.  Others nearby and around that hall can carry, but in that hall, (special, purchased ticket in advance meeting hall) no carry.

3) If the answer in "NO" there will be a target rich environment for handguns left back at the hotel.

Few will be disarmed.

4) If the answer to "2" is yes, I fear for Trump. Not that a NRA member would do anything but what a great cover for a
    malcontent group.

Answer not yes.  Trump in no danger.

5) Legally, be careful what you write concerning attending the convention packing heat and can't wait to confront the
    protesters. That would show premeditation.

Write nothing in advance.

Thoughts?

My specific related thoughts are noted above in maroon color.  As to the rest, anytime I have pants on I carry.  Open or deep or anywhere in between.  Other than a visit to wal mart or such or anywere needed much walking I most likely have my hiking staff with me.  Its has quite a few interesting uses.  Google  at Amazon--- SE WS631-60RH

As far as attending, life has permitted me to make a run.  Most likely have a living room floor (and camp mat) to camp out on and facilities for usage.  About Half Hour out of town.  Get to 24550 and I have a place to drop your vehicle, we can drive my F150, split gas and costs there and back. Downtown travel would most likely be best on the subway there, so be armed.  Anyone game for a road trip?  This year is no go alone so .  .  ..

Those crazies bug the heck out of me, they need to be arrested when they commit a crime and if the LEO's are told to stand down than politicians need to be arrested for putting the general public at risk

I would love to join you guys at the NRA event but its a bit of a hike from AK plus I'm broke  :P

Check out this footage from Ukriane.
The 1st couple minutes it looks like they are operating on acollege campus.

I must admit I took no small amount of pleasure in thinking about this transposed on the US a few years in the future... the snowflakes' "safe spaces" ruled by para militaries ready to do violence on their enemies in a civil war.
