What's this world coming to?
Just like the old saying, "When seconds count, Batman is minutes away" Oh wait.

Yup! That's where my daughter attends, and does very well. By the way, the faculty is armed.

Wait, I thought only imaginary rifles were banned, now it's literally hand-guns too?  I understood the imaginary rifle ban, since those take 30 or 100 round "clips", this is just ignorant.  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

Word on the playground is, there are a lot more kids pretending to be robbers than cops with all of the layoffs at the pretend post office, kids are choosing not to play doctor because of the huge liability of owning your own pretend practice, and all of the lemonade stands shut down because they couldn't afford to provide health insurance to employees.

Oh well, as long as the kids are learning that 2 + 2 = 5, I suppose that's all that really matters.  [url=http://www.freesmileys.or

Unfortunately that's not a viable option for a lot of folks.

I'm actually quite surprised that the child hasn't been charged with committing an imaginary hate crime.  The boys were apparently playing cowboys and indians.  It terrifies me to know that there are 6 year old heathens running around free on the playground at this moment, threatening the integrity of the education system with their cuteness and large imaginations.  I say, squash them... break their naive little spirits till all they see are the white walls of the public school institution.  I bet that little aggressor wears black pants, instead of the standard issue khaki-- deplorable...

Many, many years ago I was a Str Mgr for The Gap in Seattle. The managers were all women with the exception of myself. Once after a Str Mgr mtg, we all went out for a beer.

Most of the mgrs were unmarried but there was a few that were. One of the single gals said that when she had kids she was not going to bring them up in typical gender rolls, e.g. trucks for boys and dolls for girls.

Well one of the gals that had three kids started to laugh and relayed to the group that she had similar thoughts with her first two kids. She bought dolls for her boy and trucks for her girl.

Well by the time they were in kindergarten the boy was using the doll like a machine gun and her daughter was wrapping her trucks in blankets and cradling it like a small child.  At that point she gave up.

She then turned to the single gal and said, "good luck with that!"
Funny stuff...

This morning on the drive into work, was ruminating a rant about the over-the-top political correctness of the suburban-ocracy, as 'they' try to subvert others into their group-think and penchant for moral outrage at otherwise normal childhood behavior. Need to let it stew in my little brain for a bit.
