Thats a damn good price.

With the glut in ammo at the moment, pretty soon 22LR will be down where I use to buy it at 50¢ a box of 50 when I was 10-12 years old.

If you take into account the devaluation of the US dollar since 1966 - 1970, 5¢ a round ain't bad. Buy now or forever hold your peace. ....You are now married.  :lmfao:

When I go back to walmart, and there is a rack, well stocked with 22 ammo, of various sizes, shapes, brands and types-- running in the 2 to about 7 cents a round with 22mag between 7 and 15 cents a around I will know we have escaped teh fetid remnants of the Residency of BaraK Hussein Obama.

An that rack is pretty much the same conditions on a generalized basis.

I Have two Walmart's close by and neither has had 22LR for a couple of years and two weeks ago when I bought 223 I had to give my drivers license number and age. The clerk entered the info into his computer. They have 22mag and 17wm

Yeah JoJo, some states require that this info is collected regardless of vendor at point of purchase. I know Mass. and NY does. It was not required when I purchased info at any vendor while living in RI. States that require this information are typically states that do not allow its citizens to receive mail order shipment of ammo to their home.

 Gun stores don't ask and this is new for Walmart. It just started. Our former democrat governor made Walmart stop selling guns. That's good for the Mom &Pop stores.
